Dr. Maria Diaz Montes de Oca

Dr. María Diaz Montes de Oca brings a calm, caring approach to dentistry and is known for taking the time to explain treatment options clearly—helping patients feel comfortable and confident. At Canadian Place Dentistry, she believes in building long-term relationships with families and delivering care that reflects our promise: Where Smiles Meet Excellence.

Dr. Diaz earned her DDS from the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico (1994), completed an orthodontic degree (2000), and expanded her experience through an exchange program at Meikai University School of Dentistry in Japan. After re-qualifying in Canada, she successfully completed the NDEB examinations and obtained accreditation through the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario and the Ontario Dental Association (2019).

Her clinical interests include restorative dentistry, root canal treatment, fixed prosthodontics, aesthetic dentistry, pediatric dentistry, orthodontics, and implants, and she completed a residency program at the University of Toronto. Fluent in English and Spanish, she enjoys helping patients move from uncertainty to a healthier, more confident smile.
